Grace is a word and a name associated with elegance and beauty that is approachable and inspiring. It is also my mother's name, and she passed away when we were in the process of finding a name for this project. We wanted something Ghanaian that expresses natural beauty and femininity—and that is what she represented to so many people. I am naming this fictional brand in memory of her, in the hopes that it will one day become a working brand that she will be proud of.
