I also take note of all the services running on your website and make sure their latest terms and conditions, as well as your own terms and conditions, are clearly written out and easily accessible. I also make sure privacy policies are up to date and GDPR compliant.

You’ll get detailed website management documentation

At the end of every project, I hand over a detailed document outlining how the back-end of your website is structured in easy-to-understand terms. You will be able to search the document for instructions on how to update your blog and manage any extra features I have set up for you. You will be able to hand over the document to any internal web developer  and they will know how to make the edits and updates you will need in the future.

 

For the Basic & Professional packages, I will also have a tutorial session with whoever you are handing over your website to internally on how to manage the site.

I offer troubleshooting, software updates & minor edits

If you are uncomfortable with making changes, updates, or edits to your site, I make myself available to do this for you for either 6 months or a year after your website launch — depending on your package.

 

I also have a retainer service available if you would like to continue to have support after the time in your package.

    Discovery Call

    UNDERSTANDING YOUR PROJECT
    You will receive a link with instructions for scheduling a discovery call with me. We will take the time to walk through your goals and your vision. If you are in Stratford, Ontario or surrounding areas, we can have a face-to-face meeting if you'd prefer.

    Project Launch

    INITIAL DEPOSIT & CONTRACT
    Deposits are a non-refundable payment of $200 and are credited to your balance for the package of your choice. This is the first step in all my contracts, and it will secure time for your project in my calendar.

    Content Creation

    FINALIZING YOUR CONTENT
    Based on the information shared in our call and your web design questionnaire results, we will collaborate on your website's user flow, written content, and photography. I will also work on wireframe layouts for all pages.
  • 4

    Theme Selection

    NARROWING DOWN TO YOUR VISION
    You will receive custom theme design options for you to choose from, based on your brand identity and your vision for your site. This is subject to 2 revisions. We will also have finalized all wireframes by this point.
  • 5

    Website Development

    PUTTING THE THEME TO USE
    Once the theme is finalized, a second payment will be made of 50% of the remaining balance. I'll then begin developing your website, applying the theme to all the wireframes.
  • 6

    Project Completion

    LAUNCHING YOUR WEBSITE
    At this point, your website is complete. After the final payment has been made, I will launch the website and send over detailed documentation on how to manage it. For Basic and Professional packages, a tutorial call will be scheduled to walk you though it.
